What changes?
An aspect ratio is the relationship between width and height. Preserve the original relationship when resizing, or crop deliberately to fit a different frame.
Use it in your work
Fit a product photo inside its frame or crop it while keeping its shape.
A common mistake
Changing width and height independently to fill an arbitrary box.
Context matters
Deliberate distortion can be an artistic effect, but should not misrepresent a product.
